Founder & Editorial Lead

Craig Langran

Craig is a journalist and producer who spent nearly a decade at the BBC across documentary, digital video, audio, podcasts and written journalism, including around seven years at BBC World Service on People Fixing the World.

His work has focused on making complex ideas clear, human and compelling across formats, from reported audio and podcasts to documentary and digital video.

At The Matchstick House, he brings that editorial judgement to experts, founders and organisations who need to turn serious ideas into podcasts and campaign content people actually want to hear.

Supported by a trusted production network

Depending on the needs of a project, Matchstick works with specialist producers, editors, sound designers, video editors and technical freelancers.

This gives clients senior editorial leadership, with the right production expertise brought in when needed.

Let’s shape the story before you hit record.
